For more than 75 years the Fontijne hydraulic laboratory platen presses are being used in the polymer processing, rubber, laminating/wood and aircraft industry. The presses are mostly utilized for research & development and quality control. The presses are in accordance with ASTM and ISO.

The special designed 2-column press frame makes it easy to put a mould in the press area. The columns are machined to avoid friction when the heating platens expand frequently at high temperatures.

We use chromed solid cylinders to guarantee high parallelism between the platens.

Press control systems (LAB2000 and JUMO IMAGO 500)
The Fontijne press control system LAB2000 offers full automatic control of a Fontijne press.
LAB2000 is a PC controlled system that enables the user to store, read and exchange
all process data.

The JUMO IMAGO 500 is a process and program controller (PLC). This system enables full automatic control and programming of max. 50 press cycles and ramp cooling according to ASTM and ISO.
